Vimalashankar Navarathnam serves as Head of Internal Audit at Taylor’s Education Group (TEG), supporting the Group’s commitment to strong governance, accountability and operational excellence. He leads the development and execution of independent audits that assess the effectiveness of risk management, governance and control processes across TEG’s education ecosystem.

Shankar brings more than 15 years of experience across auditing, investigations, data analysis and process improvement. He began his career at Ernst & Young, where he conducted external and due diligence audits while pursuing his professional certifications. He subsequently took on internal audit leadership roles with organisations including Kulicke & Soffa, Sime Darby and DKSH, leading audit teams and partnering closely with senior leadership and audit committees to strengthen governance, enhance operational effectiveness and support organisational resilience.
