“My journey at Taylor’s began through a partnership with ISTHIA–Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, shaping my approach to education as international and interdisciplinary. Over time, my role expanded from teaching to programme development, supervision, and building a research ecosystem. Research-led teaching, through projects like the Asian Food Barometer, has connected theory to practice. Mentoring postgraduate students and witnessing their progression to viva voce has been especially meaningful, highlighting that academic legacy is carried through students and sustained collaboration.”
