“Over a decade at AISM, my journey has evolved from a Year 6 and senior ESL teacher to my current role as Head of English. While individual student successes—like Extension 2 rankings and Band 6 results—are rewarding, the most meaningful aspect has been my role in systemic growth. I have led initiatives such as MSS-wide PEEL paragraphing, expanding Literary Circles to reflect our diversity, and envisioning the professional learning Book Club. Transitioning from classroom instruction to developing a culture of excellence across the school has been my most meaningful moment throughout my time here.”
